Tiffany Andersen Brands uses a base of structured organic aloe vera juice in our products. Here’s why …
Haven’t we all broken off a piece of the aloe vera plant and applied the soothing and cooling gel to a burn or cut?
We might not know why, but the aloe plant’s antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, humectant, immune-boosting and antimicrobial properties provide that quick rejuvenating effect.
A succulent plant, aloe barbadensis––or aloe vera––offers many benefits and is suited for all skin types, especially dry, damaged, broken, sensitive and irritated skin. It offers anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antioxidant, humectant, soothing, and anti-itch qualities for skin.
We know aloe vera helps with:
? dry skin
? skin burns
? wounds
? seborrheic dermatitis
? dandruff
? irritations
? psoriasis
The Mayo Clinic supports these qualities of aloe, stating, “Aloe is likely safe when applied to the skin to reduce pain or inflammation…for burns, frostbite, human papilloma virus-1 (HPV) infections (cold sores), psoriasis, and wound healing in people who are not allergic or sensitive to aloe…”
But isn’t WATER a good foundation?
Water is great. We all know that and we all need it. However, it doesn’t provide any real benefit as a foundation for skincare products. In fact, it can be drying when used in skin and haircare products. Aloe’s hydrating properties are not compromised when blended with other ingredients.
Tiffany Andersen Brands uses STRUCTURED, ORGANIC aloe vera juice as its base.
Why do we structure it?
While structuring produces many benefits, the main one is that it reduces the surface tension and cluster size of water molecules from 10-30,000 molecules in size to only 6 to make the aloe vera juice more bioavailable.
?Aloe vera contains vitamin B complex, folic acid, vitamin C and carotene, ––a precursor of vitamin A––as well as polysaccharides, anthraquinones, amino acids, glycosides, minerals, flavones, phytosterols and salicylic acid.
?Anthraquinones offer antimicrobial and antioxidant qualities.
?Flavones also protect from free-radical damage.
?Glycosides offer anti-allergen properties and promote healthy cell regeneration.
?Phytosterols calm, soothe, moisturize and protect the skin with anti-inflammatory properties.
?Polysaccharides provide hydrating, anti-inflammatory and emollient benefits and create a protective barrier on the skin.
?Vitamins, minerals and essential amino acids nourish the skin.
